GradMaker FAQs

1. Why is the app being decommissioned?

Customer feedback reflected the need for more comprehensive solutions to be made available digitally. This includes education, protection, retirement, and health solutions.

In line with this, we recently launched Manulife Online, a web-based, mobile-optimized platform that gives you, our customers, a seamless, personal, and secure digital experience to monitor your policies. With Manulife Online, you can view policy and payment information, update your contact details in real-time, and pay your premiums.

As a result, we will be decommissioning the GradMaker mobile app. Manulife Philippines will also cease to accept new applications for GradMaker policies. We continue to innovate to address customer concerns and develop solutions that will make it easier and faster for customers to transact with us.

2. What will happen to my GradMaker investment?

Rest assured that your policy will continue to be managed by Manulife's professional team of fund managers. While the app is no longer accessible, you may monitor the performance of your investments through Manulife Online.

You will remain insured for 125% of your investment or the account value, whichever is higher, until the policy matures.

We have pre-registered the email address you use to access GradMaker. However, upon your first login, you will be required to nominate a new password for security purposes. Kindly follow the on-screen instructions to nominate a new password. Once registered, you may view your policy details in the customer dashboard.

3. How can I purchase a new policy?

We are no longer accepting new applications for GradMaker policies.

However if you are interested in purchasing a policy or investing in another product to prepare for your child's education, as well as your other financial needs, we have assigned a Manulife Financial Adviser, who can help you design a plan to address this and your other financial needs. If you would like to avail of this service, please call our Customer Care Hotline at (02) 884-7000.

4. How can I withdraw or pullout my policy?

If you wish to pull out your investment, you may do so by sending an email to our Customer Care at phcustomercare@manulife.com and provide the following details:

   • Policy number
   • Insured person's/Policy Owner's name
   • Valid ID of the policy owner to pull out the policy
   • Identify a deposit account with the following details: Name, Account number, and Branch of account

This is subject to a surrender charge of 2% of your account value within the first 5 years. The account value must be fully withdrawn and no partial withdrawal is allowed. For complete withdrawal requests, funds will be credited within 3-5 business days.

5. I'm a GradMaker beneficiary. How can I make a claim?

To make a claim, you can visit our website and fill out the Claims Inquiry form here https://www.manulife.com.ph/Claims-Inquiry.

6. How can I update my account information?

7. How can I change my beneficiary?

8. How do I check my anniversary rewards status now that the app is offline?

For every P10,000 investment, Manulife will reward you with P100 worth of units to add to your investment after the first year. This reward will apply to each policy only once, after it has turned 1 year old. You can check if the reward has been credited to your account by calling our Customer Care Hotline at (02)884-7000.

9. Can I request for a hard copy of my policy to be delivered to me?

Yes, you may request for a hard copy by sending an email request to https://online.manulife.com.ph.
