We understand that people can't be healthy if they live on an unhealthy planet. Climate change is impacting our ability to breath clean air, access safe drinking water, and safeguard against natural disasters from reef to ridge. In partnership with Haribon Foundation through their Forests of Life Movement, Manulife is planting 15,000 native trees, which will improve soil nutrients, provide food and shelter to wildlife, improve water retention of forests and reduce greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
Since 2022, Manulife and Haribon has planted 21,250 trees across the three provinces, with 5,000 more to be planted within 2025.
Our partnership with Manulife Phlippines highlights the importance of collaboration and shared responsibility to drive concrete action.[...] We thank Manulife for the collaboration, which helps us protect and restore our country's diverse ecosystems.
